Casual Support Worker
We are seeking Casual Support Workers to work within our community homes located in the Blue Mountains and Penrith areas.
Essential Criteria
- A positive attitude to people with a disability
- Awareness and understanding of current legislation
- Current drivers licence
- Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain within the first 3 months of employment)
- Good communication skills Ability to work cooperatively as part of a team
Desirable
- Experience working with people with a disability
- Certificate III in Disability Work or other TAFE and/or tertiary qualifications in other related fields
- Computer skills

If you are a Registered Nurse with an authority to practice, committed to people with a disability and a team player, then this may be the job for you.We are seeking Registered Nurses to support the needs of our clients within community homes.
You will use your nursing knowledge and skills to practise autonomously with people with complex health care needs.You will be well supported by our Health Support Team and working alongside Support Workers.
This is a ‘Hands on’ role with efficient manual handling equipment in all houses.
The role involves: responsibility for and provision of excellent client care; collaboration with families, GPs, community pharmacists, allied health staff; and mentoring of Support Workers.
