Greystanes Community Living
Greystanes Community Living provides support in community homes throughout the Blue Mountains and the Nepean. Disability Support Workers and Registered Nurses are available on a 24 hour basis to support to people with multiple disabilities and complex health needs living in community homes.
Community Life
Homes are in a variety of settings and are an integral part of the neighbourhood. These homes are equipped with the specialised equipment that a person might need and well trained staff are available to support people in their daily lives and in their participation in the community. Community activities, family barbeques, birthday celebrations, sensory experiences, social opportunities and exercise are among the activities that are supported by Greystanes Community Living.
Healthy Life
Our staff are well supported in meeting the specific health needs of people living in community homes. The Health Support Team consists of a Clinical Nurse Consultant, a Physiotherapist, a Speech Pathologist, Speech Pathologist, an Endorsed Enrolled Nurse and an Accredited Practising Dietitian and Registered Nurses provide support in community homes.
Family Life
People with disabilities and their families are at the centre of decision-making with supports tailored to meet individual needs. Greystanes Community Living is committed to consulting with families and further developing and improving its person centred service delivery.
